Mute any speaker. Hear them in your language in under a second.
A system-wide desktop translator that hijacks any app's audio — Zoom, Meet, Teams, YouTube, Twitch, VLC — and dubs the speaker into your language in real time.
Translation lives in silos. Your day doesn't.
Zoom has its own captions. Teams has Copilot. Meet has its own subs. YouTube has another. None of them dub voices in real time across every app you actually use.
I'm juggling tabs while the meeting moves on
Meet captions on one screen, Google Translate on another, teammate translating inline. Every cross-language standup doubles in length and exhausts everyone in it.
Subtitles only work where the vendor allows it
Browser extensions cover web pages. Zoom AI Companion covers Zoom. Nothing covers the Korean Twitch stream, the Japanese keynote, the desktop call I'm actually in.
Real-time voice dubbing is gated behind enterprise
Voice cloning sits in Rask, HeyGen and pro studios at $30–$120/mo for async video. I just want my teammate's voice, dubbed into my language, on a Tuesday standup.
One install. Every app speaks your language.
Babelio captures per-process audio at the OS level, auto-ducks the original speaker to 15%, and plays a fluent dub on top — or floats live subtitles, your choice.
- 1Hijacks any app's audiomacOS CoreAudio taps + Windows WASAPI loopback. Zoom, Meet, Teams, Discord, YouTube, Twitch, Spotify, VLC — anything that plays sound.
- 2Auto-mutes the source, dubs in real timeStreaming STT → LLM translation → streaming TTS. First word arrives in ~600ms, original voice ducked under a quiet murmur.

Three steps. Sixty seconds.
Install & grant audio access
Download the .dmg or .exe. One OS dialog for audio capture on Mac, zero on Windows. No kernel extensions, no admin rights.
Pick your target language
Single dropdown: "I want everything in → Russian." Source language auto-detects. Play a 4-second sample, confirm it works.
Press the hotkey, hear the dub
Open Zoom, hit Cmd+Shift+B. The next person who speaks shows up in your language in under a second. The HUD shows live latency, p50 green.
Built for the speed of conversation.
Any-app capture
Per-process audio from any app on your machine. No plugin, no extension, no per-vendor integration to wait for.
Sub-800ms latency
Streaming pipeline end-to-end. The first dubbed word lands before the speaker finishes their sentence.
Simultaneous voice dub
Original speaker auto-ducked to a murmur. Translated voice on top, neutral M/F per target language at launch.
Live subtitle overlay
Draggable, click-through, always-on-top HUD. Resize, restyle, snap to any edge. Open-office friendly.

Common questions. Straight answers.
Is my audio recorded or stored anywhere?
No recordings leave your machine. Audio is streamed through our STT and TTS providers in flight, never persisted on our side. The last 10 minutes of transcripts sit locally on your device for the "wait, what did she say?" replay, and a one-click "Clear all" wipes them. An on-device mode is on the roadmap for infosec-locked teams.
Which apps does Babelio work with?
Anything that plays sound on your computer. Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Slack huddles, Twitch, YouTube, Chrome and Safari tabs, Spotify, VLC, games. Babelio captures audio at the OS level per process — no plugin or vendor partnership required.
How is this different from Zoom AI Companion or Meet captions?
Zoom captions only work in Zoom. Meet captions only work in Meet. Teams Copilot only works in Teams. Babelio works across every app, gives you spoken voice dubbing on top of (or instead of) subtitles, and lets you switch target language without leaving your call.
What languages are supported at launch?
Five at the MVP: English, Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese — any direction between them. We add Japanese, Korean, German, French, Italian, Hindi, Arabic, Turkish and more through 2026 based on waitlist demand.
Does it run on Mac and Windows?
Yes — both. macOS 14.4+ uses CoreAudio process taps; Windows 10+ uses WASAPI loopback. No kernel extension on either platform. Mobile and Linux are not on the MVP — iOS doesn't allow system audio capture and Android is partial.
What's the refund policy?
